Changes to prohibition of company directors
One of the responsibilities of the National Enforcement Unit, Ministry of Economic Development (NEU) is to assess and investigate candidates for prohibition under Section 385 of the Companies Act 1993.
Regular maintenance window to change
From Sunday, 17 January 2010 the Companies Office will be carrying out the routine maintenance of its site on a Sunday night. This will replace our traditional Monday night maintenance window.

Industrial and provident societies review
In preparation for the introduction of Enterprise, the Registrar of Industrial and Provident Societies (“the Registrar”) is conducting a review of the industrial and provident societies register. There are currently 299 societies registered under the Industrial and Provident Societies Act 1908 (“the Act”).
