Form a company online

Forming a company online is as simple as reserving your company name, completing the incorporation details and returning your signed consent forms.

Before you begin your company incorporation online there are a few things that you are going to need:

  • A credit card or a direct debit facility already established with us.
  • A computer that is installed with PDF reader software (e.g. Adobe Acrobat Reader 4.0 or above).
  • A printer.
  • A scanner or fax machine.
  • Company information:
    • An active email address.
    • Proposed company name reserved.
    • At least one physical address for your company.
    • The full names and residential addresses of your director(s) and shareholder(s).
    • If you intend to apply for a company IRD number during the incorporation process, you will need the personal IRD number for all NZ resident directors (individuals only), and all NZ resident shareholders (individuals only), main business activity and place of business.
    • If you intend to apply for a company IRD number and register for GST during the incorporation process, you will need all of the above in addition to the GST accounting method, frequency of filing returns and details of how you would like refunds to be paid.
