Change company key

You need your company key whenever you see the [icon] Company key. icon.

When company keys are first issued they will be a seven digit number.  If you wish you can change the company key to a seven character alphanumeric value, containing at least one number and at least one letter.


How to change the company key

  1. Select Maintain Company Details from the left hand menu.

  2. From the Maintain Company Details menu screen, select Change Company Key.

  3. Enter the company number, or select Locate Company to find the company name and number.

  4. Enter the current company key then,

    • enter the new one and
    • confirm the change by entering the new one again in the last field
    • select Continue.
  5. You will be presented with a screen confirming that your change has been successful.


Note | The new company key must be a seven character alphanumeric value containing at least one number and at least one letter.  The company key is case sensitive.  When entering the company key, ensure that you enter it correctly.  Take note of whether your Num Lock or Caps Lock keys are on before entering your key.
