Any Overseas Limited Partnership must apply to register within ten working days of commencing to carry on business in New Zealand.  If an Overseas Limited Partnership was carrying on business in New Zealand before the Limited Partnerships Act 2008 came into force, it must register within three months of the Act’s commencement.

Registering an Overseas Limited Partnership is as simple as completing the application form, attaching the evidence of formation in its home jurisdiction and paying a registration fee.
